웨스트민스터신앙고백서에 나타난 교회와 성례에 관한 고찰

A consideration about the church and sacraments in The Westminster Confession of Faiths

웨스트민스터신앙고백서는 영국, 웨일즈, 스코틀랜드, 아일랜드의 개신교 지도자들이 교리적 일치를 5년 동안 회의를 개최한 결과의 산물로서 칼빈주의 신앙을 담고 있다. 한국 장로교회는 교단의 중요한 신앙고백으로 웨스트민스터신앙고백서를 수용하고 있다. 회의가 장기간에 걸친 만큼 그 내용은 방대하다. 이 연구에서는 교회와 성례의 주요 내용을 고찰한 후, 목회적 관점에서 오늘날 한국 교회가 당면하고 있는 여러 문제들에 관해 많은 유익을 줄 수 있다. 즉 첫째로 가시적 교회가 당면한 문제에 대한 목회적 접근의 신학적 근거를 모색할 수 있다. 둘째로 세례, 중생, 죄사함, 성만찬 등에서 분명한 신학적 관점을 갖고 목회에 임할 수 있다.

The Westminster Confession of Faiths contains Calvinism s faith as the product of the five-year conference of Protestant leaders in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. The Presbyterian Church in Korea accepts the Westminster Confession of Faiths as an important confession of faith by the church. As the meeting lasted for a long time, the content is vast. In this study, after examining the main contents of churches and sacraments, it can give many benefits to the various problems facing Korean churches today from a pastoral point of view. In other words, first, theological basis for a pastoral approach to the problem facing the visible church can be sought. Second, you can participate in ministry with a clear theological perspective in baptism, born again, redemption, and the Holy Communion.
