대면과 비대면 환경에서의 학습자의 학습전략 비교분석 연구

A Comparative Study on Undergraduates’ Learning Strategies: Face-to-Face and Non-Face-to-Face Environments

이 연구에서는 대면과 비대면 환경에서 학습자의 학습전략의 차이를 분석하여 개선 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 충북 소재 4년제 사립대 K대학의 학습자를 대상으로 대면(2019)과 비대면(2021) 각 643명의 자료를 수집하고 요인별, 문항별 독립표본 t-검증을 실시하였으며 학습전략이 학습실천력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 주요 결과는 첫째, 대면 환경의 학습전략이 비대면 환경의 학습전략 평균보다 높게 나타났으며, 기억력, 시험기술, 수업자세 및 태도, 시간관리, 집중력 순으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 문항별 대면과 비대면의 평균차이에서 시험기술요인의 시험문제 예측과, 수업자세 및 태도요인의 적극적인 수업참여 등의 순으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 학습전략이 학습실천력에 미치는 영향은 대면 환경에서는 시험기술, 시간관리 순이며, 비대면 환경에서는 시간관리, 집중력 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에, 대면과 비대면 환경에서 K대학 학습자의 학습전략의 비교분석 결과를 토대로 학습자 지원 방안에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 추후, 대면과 비대면 환경에서의 학습자의 학업 동기 및 학업성취향상을 위하여 지원할 수 있는 학습전략 개선 방안에 대한 연구를 확대하고자 한다.

This study examines undergraduate students’ learning strategies in face-to-face and non-face-to-face learning environments. Data collected from 1,286 students in a 4-year private university in the central part of Korea was examined through independent-sample t-tests and a multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that the average number of learning strategies employed in a face-to-face environment was higher than that of learning strategies in a non-face-to-face environment. Moreover, there were significant differences in memorization, test taking techniques, learning attitudes, time management, and concentration between both environments. More specifically, there were significant differences in anticipation of exam questions under test taking techniques and active participation under learning attitudes. The effects of learning strategies on learning execution in a face-to-face environment were in the order of test taking techniques and time management, while those of learning strategies on learning execution in a non-face-to-face environment were in the order of time management and concentration. These results provide implications for learner support strategies in a non-face-to-face environment.
