중학교 학교스포츠클럽 활동의 편성·운영 실태 분석 및 개선 방향 탐색

Analysing of the organization and operation and exploring the improvement of lower secondary school’s school sports club activities

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정에서 중학교 학교스포츠클럽 활동의 편성ㆍ운영 실태를 분석하고 2022 개정 교육과정에서의 개선 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 중학교 교원과 교육과정 업무 담당 장학사, 학부모, 학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 체육교육과 교수, 중학교 체육 교사, 타 교과 교원 및 장학사 등을 대상으로 면담 조사를 실시하였으며, 면담 조사에 참여하지 않은 중학교 현장 교육 전문가를 대상으로 전문가 의견 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 학교스포츠클럽 활동은 학교 폭력 예방의 목적으로 도입되었으나 궁극적으로 건전한 심신 발달과 평생 스포츠문화 향유를 지향하는 방향으로 재정립해야 한다는 요구가 제기되었다. 둘째, 학교스포츠클럽 활동의 의무 시수 확보를 위해 야기되고 있는 중학교 편성ㆍ운영의 복잡성 문제가 해결되어야 한다는 요구가 제기되었다. 셋째, 학교스포츠클럽 활동이 내실화되기 위해서는 인적ㆍ물적 자원의 확보 방안이 마련되어야 한다는 요구가 제기되었다. 논의 및 결론: 연구 결과를 종합하여 2022 개정 교육과정에서의 학교스포츠클럽 활동의 방향, 의무 편성 시수 및 시수 확보 방안, 지원 방안 등을 제안하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the organization and operation of lower secondary school’s school sports club activities in the 2015 revised curriculum and to explore the improvement in the 2022 revised curriculum. Method: First, a survey was conducted targeting lower secondary school teachers, supervisors, parents, and students. Second, an interview survey was conducted targeting professors of the physical education department, physical education teachers and teachers of other subjects and supervisors in lower secondary school. Third, an expert opinion survey was conducted targeting teachers, principals and superintendents in lower secondary. Results: First, school sports club activities were introduced for the purpose of preventing school violence, but ultimately there were calls for a re-establishment towards healthy and mental development and the enjoyment of a lifelong sports culture. Second, there have been calls for the complexity of lower secondary school operations to be addressed in order to secure mandatory time in school sports club activities. Third, there have been calls for ways to secure human and material resources in order for school sports club activities to become effective. Conclusion: In this study, the direction of school sports club activities, the mandatory time, and the method for securing the mandatory time were improved, and a support plan was newly established by synthesizing the research results for the 2022 revised national curriculum.
