본 연구는 비자의입원 정신장애인의 절차보조서비스 이용 경험에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 절차보조서비스에 참여 경험이 있는 비자의 입원 정신장애인을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하고 이러한 경험의 의미와 본질을 발견하고자 질적 연구방법인 현상학적 방법을 사용하여 이들의 경험을 분석하였다. 연구결과 13개의 하위주제, 3개의 본질주제군으로 분석되었다. 3개의 본질주제는 ‘입원과정에서의 배제’, ‘치료과정에서의 관여와 결정’, ‘희망의 동료지원가’로 나타났다. 참여 경험에서 각각의 의미가 도출되었지만 이들 모두를 관통하는 서비스 이용자의 경험의 특징을 도출하고, 이 결과를 바탕으로 절차보조서비스에 대한 정책적·실천적 제언을 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the experience of using procedural assistance services of mentally disabled persons in involuntary hospitalization. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with involuntary hospitalized mentally disabled persons who had experience participating in procedural assistance services. And to discover the meaning and essence of these experiences, the phenomenological method, which is a qualitative research method, was used to analyze their experiences. As a result of the study, 13 subtopics and 3 essential subject groups were analyzed. The three essential themes were exclusion in the hospitalization process , involvement and decision-making in the treatment process , and peer supporter of hope . Although each meaning was derived from the participatory experience, the characteristics of the experience of service users that penetrate all of them were derived. Based on these results, policy and practical suggestions were made for procedural assistance services.
