청소년의 예술적 소양이 창의성에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Artistic Literacy on Teenagers’ Creativity

본 연구는 청소년기 예술적 소양과 창의성의 발달 경향을 살펴보고, 예술적 소양이 창의성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 연구의 대상은 한국교육종단연구의 4차(2016)와 6차(2018) 자료이며 중학교 2학년과 고등학교 1학년 때 두 차례에 걸쳐 설문에 참여한 6,015명의 청소년으로부터 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. SPSS와 AMOS 프로그램을 통해 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예술적 소양과 창의성은 청소년기 동안 안정적으로 유지되는 경향이 있었다. 그리고 측정 시점별 차이를 살펴본 결과, 중학생 때 측정된 점수와 비교했을 때 고등학생 시점에서 예술적 소양은 유의하게 증가하였으며 창의성은 유의하게 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 측정시점과 관계없이 예술적 소양은 창의성에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

This study examined the developmental trends of artistic literacy and creativity as perceived by adolescents and investigated the influence of artistic literacy on creativity. The target is data from the 4th (2016) and 6th (2018) the Korean Education Longitudinal Studies, which were collected from surveys of 6,015 teenagers who participated in two rounds during the second year of middle school and the first year of high school. Confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed through SPSS and AMOS programs. The results of this study were as follows: First, artistic literacy and creativity tended to remain stable during adolescence. In addition, examining the difference in between each survey period indicates that artistic literacy significantly increased as students entered high school while creativity significantly decreased. Second, artistic literacy had a significantly positive effect on creativity regardless of the period. The significance and limitations of this study are discussed.
