상담전공 학부생에게 요구되는 졸업생 역량에 대한 델파이조사 연구

A Delphi Survey Study on the Graduate Attributes of Undergraduate Students in Counseling

본 연구의 목적은 상담전공 학부 졸업생들에게 요구되는 역량요소는 무엇인지를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 상담전공 대학교수패널 7인, 상담현장전문가패널 7인, 상담학부졸업생패널 7인 등 총 21명의 전문가패널을 모집하고 세 차례의 델파이조사를 실시하여 상담전공 학부 졸업생에게 요구되는 3개의 역량군 및 24가지의 역량요소들을 도출하였다. 첫 번째 상담역량군의 하위요소는 상담이론, 상담기술, 심리평가, 내담자이해 및 사례개념화, 상담윤리, 위기개입역량, 프로그램기획 및 운영이며, 두 번째 직업기초역량군의 하위요소들은 비판적사고, 창의성, 의사소통역량, 문제해결역량, 대인관계역량, 자기관리역량, 자원정보기술의 활용 등이며, 세 번째 인성 및 태도군에는 책임감, 자기존중감, 자기성찰, 타인배려 및 공감, 개방성, 일치성/진정성, 공정성, 공동체의식, 도전의식 등이 포함되었다. 각 도출된 역량요소들의 대표성, 중요성 점수를 중심으로 상담자교육, 특히 상담학부 교육과정으로의 적용 및 개선점에 대한 시사점 및 제언들을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 상담학부수준에서 요구되는 역량요소들을 도출하고 이를 통해 상담학부 교육과정 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine what competency factors are required of undergraduate counseling graduates. For this purpose, we recruited a total of 21 expert panels including 7 professors in counseling major, 7 practitioners in counseling field, and 7 undergraduate counseling graduates. Three competency groups and 24 competency sub-factors were derived using three-times Delphi surveys. The first competency group is the counseling competency group including counseling theory, counseling skills, psychological evaluation, client understanding and case conceptualization, counseling ethics, crisis intervention, program planning and operation, and the second group, named the basic job competency, involves critical thinking, creativity, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal relationship, self-management, utilization of resource, information, and technology. Lastly, the personality and attitude group includes responsibility, self-esteem, self-reflection, consideration and empathy for others, openness, unity/authenticity, fairness, sense of community, and a sense of challenge. Based on the representativeness and importance scores of each derived competency factors, we discussed some implications and suggestions for counselor education, especially regarding the application to the curriculum for undergraduate counseling program. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic data for improving the counseling department s curriculum by deriving the competency factors required undergraduate students in counseling.
