다문화가정 청소년의 이중문화수용태도가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 : 성취동기의 매개효과

The effects of bicultural acceptance attitude in adolescents from multicultural families on adaptation to school life: The mediating effects of achievement motivation

본 연구는 다문화청소년의 이중문화수용태도와 학교생활적응 간의 관계에서 성취동기의 매 개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 ‘다문화청소년패널조 사’ 중 2018년에 조사된 데이터 중 청소년용 1,197명을 분석대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이중문화수용태도가 다문화청소년의 학교생활적응에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째로 이중문화수용태도가 학교생활적응에 정적인 영향을 미치는데 성취동기는 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 이중문화수용태도를 통해서 학교생활적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는데 성취동기를 통해서도 학교생활적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 이중문화수용태도가 다문화청소년의 학교생활적응, 성취동기의 관계를 검증하였 다. 이러한 결과는 이중문화수용태도에 대한 기초자료와 다문화청소년의 학교생활적응을 향상 하기 위한 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

This study aims to verify the mediating effects of achievement motivation on the relationship between bicultural acceptance attitude in adolescents from multicultural and Adaptation to School Life. Of the data of “Multicultural Adolescents Panel” implemented by the National Youth Policy Institute, this study analyzed the data surveyed with 1,197 adolescents in 2018. The analysis results are as follows. First, it turned out that bicultural acceptance attitude had a positive impact on multicultural adolescents’ Adaptation to School Life. Second, it turned out that bicultural acceptance attitude had a partial mediation in the positive impact of achievement motivation on Adaptation to School Life. It had a positive impact on Adaptation to School Life through bicultural acceptance attitude, and it also had a positive impact on achievement motivation. This study verified the relationships of bicultural acceptance attitude, with adolescents from multicultural families, Adaptation to School Life, and achievement motivation. These results have significance in that they provide the baseline data on bicultural acceptance attitude and the baseline data to increase adolescents from multicultural families Adaptation to School Life.
