다문화 청소년이 경험한 사회적 차별이 우울에 미치는 영향: 부모와의 관계만족도 조절효과를 중심으로

The effects of the experience of social discrimination on depression among multicultural adolescents: The moderating effect of parental relationship satisfaction

본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 사회적 차별 경험과 우울 간의 관계에서 부모와의 관계만족도의 조절효과를 분석하고 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 여성가족부에서 진행한 2018년 전국다문화가족실태조사의 만 9~24세 다문화 청소년 6,203명 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하였고 기술통계분석, 빈도분석, 피어슨 상관관계 분석, 위계적 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 사회적 차별을 경험하지 않은 다문화 청소년보다 사회적 차 별을 경험한 다문화 청소년의 우울이 더 높은 것으로 나타나 가설 1이 입증되었으며, 사회적 차별 경험과 우울의 관계를 아버지와의 관계만족도와 어머니와의 관계만족도가 유의미하게 조 절하는 것으로 나타나 가설 2와 가설 3도 지지되었다. 이를 바탕으로 다문화 청소년의 사회적 차별 경험 감소와 부모와의 관계만족도 향상을 위한 사회복지 관점의 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the experience of social discrimination on depression among multicultural adolescents and the moderating effect of parental relationship satisfaction. To this end, the data from “The National Survey of Multicultural Families 2018” conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family was used. The data of 6,203 multicultural adolescents aged 9 to 24 was analyzed for this study. Descriptive statistics analysis, frequency analysis, pearson correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS 26.0 program. According to the result, there was a significant relationship between the experience of social discrimination and depression. In addition, relationship satisfaction with parents moderated the relationship between social discrimination experiences and depression. Based on the results, suggestions which can alleviate the experience of social discrimination and improve parental relationship satisfaction among multicultural adolescents were made from the perspective of social welfare.
