3D펜 활용 메이커 교육이 초등학생의 자기조절력, 사회성 및 창의적 성향에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Maker Education Programs Using 3D Pens on Elementary School Students Self-regulation, Sociality, and Creative Personality

본 연구의 목적은 3D펜 활용 메이커 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 이 프로그램이 초등학생의 자기조절력, 사회성, 창의적 성향에 미치는 영향 및 메이커 수업에 대한 학습자의 수업 인식을 조사하는 것이다. 실험 설계는 사전-사후 통제집단설계이며, 실험집단과 비교집단은 경기도 소재 초등학교 3학년 2개 반 각 40명이다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과같다. 첫째, 3D펜 활용 메이커 교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 자기조절력을 유의하게 향상시켰다. 둘째, 3D펜 활용 메이커 교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 사회성을 유의하게 향상시켰다. 셋째, 3D펜 활용 메이커 교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 창의적 성향을 유의하게 향상시켰다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 3D펜 활용 메이커 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 자기조절력, 사회성및 창의적 성향을 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 추후 초등학교 교육현장에 교과와 연계한 다양한 메이커 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용이 이루어지기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a maker education program using 3D pens, and to investigate the effect of this program on elementary school students self-regulation, sociality, and creative personalities, and students perceptions on maker classes. For the experimental design, a pre-post control group design was adopted, and in the experimental group and the comparative group each, a total of 40 students in the third grade participated in two classes at an elementary school in Gyeonggi-province. The results of this study were as follows. First, the maker education program using 3D pens significantly improved the self-regulation ability of elementary school students. Second, the maker education program using 3D pens significantly improved the sociality of elementary school students. Third, the maker education program using 3D pens significantly improved the creative personality of elementary school students. In conclusion, the study indicated that the maker education program using 3D pens was effective in improving elementary school students self-regulation, sociality, and creative personalities. It is expected that various maker education programs linked to the educational subjects will be developed and applied to the elementary school education field in the future.
