부모화 경험이 초기성인기의 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향

Sequential Mediating Effects of Self-Differentiation and Rejection Sensitivity on the Relationship between Parentification and Interpersonal Competence in Early Adulthood

본 연구는 과거 부모화 경험이 초기 성인기의 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향에서 자아분화와 거부민감성의 매개효과를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초기성인기에 해당하는 성인 456명을 대상으로 자료를 수집 및 분석하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 검증하였고, 최종모형을 선정하였다. 분석에는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 22.0이 사용되었다. 분석 결과, 부모화 경험과 대인관계능력 간의 관계에서 거부민감성의 단순매개효과는 확인되지 않았으나, 자아분화의 단순매개효과를 확인하였다. 또한 자아분화와 거부민감성은 부모화 경험과 대인관계능력을 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 과거의 부모화 경험은 개인의 자아분화와 거부민감성 수준에 순차적으로 영향을 미치게 되고, 이는 초기 성인기 대인관계능력에 부정적으로 작용하여 이후 대인관계에서 어려움을 겪을 가능성이 높아짐을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 과거 부모화 경험이 있는 내담자와 상담 시, 자아분화와 거부민감성에 대해 치료적 개입을 시도하여 대인관계능력을 향상하는 데 도움을 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study aims to investigate the mediating effects of self-differentiation and rejection sensitivity on the relations of parentification and interpersonal competence in early adulthood. For this research, the data from 456 adults in early adulthood were analyzed. The research model is verified through structure equation modeling and final model is selected. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0 is used for analysis. The result showed that self-differentiation has the mediating effects between parentification and interpersonal competence. However, rejection sensitivity doesn’t show the mediating effects between parentification and interpersonal competence. Self-differentiation and rejection sensitivity showed the sequential mediation effect in relation with parentification and interpersonal competence. On the basis of the result above, this study confirmed that self-differentiation and rejection sensitivity caused by parentification of the past affects interpersonal competence in early adulthood. Therefore, this study is significant in determining that the counselor can improve interpersonal competence of client who experienced parentification through dealing with self-differentiation and rejection sensitivity.
