본 연구의 목적은 장애인보호작업장을 이용하는 장애인에 대한 전문적인 사회복지사의 개입이 중요함에도 불구하고, 이를 위한 체계적이고 전문적인 직무분석이 이루어진 적이 없고, 이를 바탕으로 직업능력 평가가 이루어지고 있지 못하다는 전제하에, 발달장애인 보건용 마스크 제조직무분석 결과를 도출하고, 이러한 발달장애인 보건용마스크 제조 직무분석 결과와 관련하여 직무능력 평가 도구를 개발하여, 향후 장애인보호작업장에서 장애인에 대한 사회복지사의 전문적인 직무능력 평가, 직업재활계획 수립, 취업알선 등을 실천함에 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 직무분석과 관련된 이론적 배경을 제시하였고, 발달장애인 보건용 마스크 제조 직무분석 결과를 구체적으로 도출하였음. 또한, 발달장애인 보건용 마스크 제조 직무분석 결과를 제시하는 수준에서 더 나아가 발달장애인 직무능력 평가 도구를 제안하였고, 이를 활용하여 현장에서 적용 가능한 직무분석 및 직무능력 평가도구를 도출하였음에 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.
