Analysis of literature related rehabilitative treatment method of equine facilitated

The purpose of this study was to investigate the trend of research rehabilitative treatment of equine facilited and lay the ground for effective program design. For this purpose, 65 articles rehabilitative treatment of equine facilited were reviewed in terms of publication years, disability types, variables, and methods. This study obtained the following results: First, the number of relevant articles, which was 8 between 2003 and 2009, has drastically increased since 2010. Second, disability types can be divided into 13 categories; while most of the subjects had cerebral palsy or intellectual disability, the types have varied since 2010. Third, the variables can be divided either into two categories―physical and socio-emotional ones―or into twelve types. Fourth, the most frequently applied methods were ANOVA, t-test and pretest-posttest comparison.
