The effects of father-child interaction play program on father-child interaction and children’s aggression

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of father-child interaction play program on father-child interaction and children’s aggression. Two research questions were posed: first, does the father-child interactions play program any effect on father-child interactions? second, does the father-child interactions play program any effect on children’s aggression? The program was provided in 8sessions at a child development center in March and April, 2016, twice a week, 90 minutes each. As a result, the father-child interaction play program was found to be effective at boosting the father-child interactions and at relieving the children’s aggression. At this point that father’s roles are constantly increasing, this study has significance by focusing on children’s interaction with their fathers for reduction of aggression.
