A study on the development of adult play therapy programs for the enhancement of parenting efficacy in mothers parenting stress experience with preschool children and the effects

The purpose of this study lies in developing a model of adult play therapy program for the enhancement of parenting efficacy in mothers with preschool children and verify the effects of the program. The findings from this study are as follows: First, the adult play therapy program had an effect in reducing child-rearing stress in mothers. Second, the adult play therapy program had a positive effect on the enhancement of child-rearing efficacy in mothers. Therefore, this study conducted an adult play therapy program that consisted of the physical contact play that would enhance the child-rearing relationship with the medium of art, which relaxes mothers with preschool children emotionally and proved that it had an effect on the enhancement of child-rearing efficacy in mothers.
