장애형제자매 유무에 따른 아동의 어머니 기대, 외로움, 스트레스의 지각

The study about children's of their mothers' expectation, loneliness, stress depending on the existence/non-existence of a disabled sibling

본 연구에서는 장애형제자매를 두지 않은 비장애 아동들에 비해 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 아동들의 어머니 기대와 외로움, 스트레스 수준이 어떤지 비교분석하였다. 연구대상으로는 경상북도에 소재한 일반초등학교(1개교)의 장애형제자매를 두지 않은 초등학교 4-6학년 아동 494명과 경상북도 및 대구광역시, 서울․경기도에 소재한 특수학교 4개교, 복지관 2개소, 장애인주간보호센터 5개소의 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 초등학교 4-6학년 아동 125명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석으로는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램에서 빈도분석, Cronbach's α, t검증, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 장애형제자매 유무에 따른 아동의 어머니 기대를 살펴 본 결과 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 아동이 장애형제자매를 두지 않은 비장애 아동보다 지각하고 있는 어머니 기대가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 아동이 장애형제자매를 두지 않은 비장애 아동보다 외로움을 훨씬 더 많이 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 아동이 장애형제자매를 두지 않은 비장애 아동보다 훨씬 더 많은 스트레스를 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애형제자매를 둔 비장애 아동의 어머니 기대, 외로움, 스트레스 간의 관계에서 아동의 어머니 기대와 스트레스, 외로움과 스트레스 간에 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to examine children's of their mothers' expectation, loneliness, Stress depending on the existence/non-existence of a disabled Sibling. In this study, sample consisting of 125 children of elementary school the four-six form in North Gyeongsang Province and with disabled sibling versus 494 children of elementary school the four-six form in North Gyeonsang Province, Daegu Metropolitan City, Seoul & Gyeonggi Province without disabled sibling were recruited, measure level of children's of their mothers' expectation, loneliness, stress. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0. Major findings of the research are as follows. First, difference is significant in children's of their mothers' expectation depending on the existence/non-existence of a disabled sibling. While child with disabled sibling likely to gains higher score in children's of their mothers' expectation than child without disabled sibling. Second, difference is significant in children's loneliness depending on the existence/non-existence of a disabled sibling. While child with disabled sibling likely to gains higher score in children's loneliness than child without disabled sibling. Third, difference is significant in children's stress depending on the existence/non-existence of a disabled sibling. While child with disabled sibling likely to gains higher score in children's stress than child without disabled sibling. Fourth, correlation is significant in children's of their mothers' expectation and children's stress, children's loneliness and children's stress. Especially, existence of a disabled sibling child's loneliness is high correlation showed in the domain stress exclude school part.
