아동의 특성에 따른 부모의 양육활동과 양육태도 차이에 대한 연구

The study on the differences of parenting styles and parenting activities according to child's characteristics reported by parents

본 연구는 조사연구로서 부모가 인식한 아동의 특성에 따라 부모의 양육태도와 양육활동이 나타내는 양상을 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 학령전기의 미취학 아동부터 87개월까지의 아동들을 둔 부모 385명을 대상으로 부모가 인식하는 아동특성, 부모의 양육태도, 부모가 제공하는 양육활동 등의 유형간 상관을 조사하였고, 부모가 인식하는 아동의 특성에 따라 양육활동과 양육태도에 대해 독립적인 차이검증을 하였고, 부모의 양육태도와 양육활동에 영향을 미치는 변인을 찾아보기 위해 회귀분석을 하였다. 이상의 자료들은 SPSS WIN V. 13으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과 부모가 인식하는 아동특성은 부모가 제공하는 양육태도, 부모의 양육활용 유형에 의미 있는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This research was proceeded figure out the profiles of parenting styles and parenting activities according to child's characteristics reported by parents. Subjects were 385 parents with 209 of fathers and 176 of mothers, one of whose child is under 91 month-old. Fathers and mothers had proceeded to fill out questionnaires of 123 items asking the characteristics of their child, parenting activities they provide a day when they are with their preschooler child at home, and the questionnaires of MBRI-R, Maternal Behavior Rating Index Revised. Those data were analysed by SPSS WIN. 13. to get 1) the correlations between parenting styles, parenting activities and child characteristics, 2) the results of independent t-tests with according to the subscales of child's characteristics, 3) and the results of regressions with independent variables of characteristics of child's and dependent variables of parenting styles and activities. The results showed those characteristics reported by parents have strong correlations with parents' style of parenting and nurturing activities they provide to their child.
