모래상자 놀이를 통한 주의력결핍 과잉행동 유아의 치료 사례연구

The case study of ADHD child with thesand play therapy

본 연구는 주의력결핍 과잉행동 유아를 치료하는데 있어 모래상자 놀이의 효과를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 주의력결핍 과잉행동 장애를 지닌 4세 남아였다. 모래상자 놀이를 시작하기 전에 HTP, KFD를 실시하고, DSM-IV의 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 척도에 의한 진단 그리고 코너스 교사 평정 척도에 의해 평정을 실시하였다. 사전 검사 후에 1년간 총 40회에 걸쳐 모래상자 놀이를 실시하였다. 모래상자 놀이의 실시와 함께 유아의 어머니와 담임 교사를 통해 유아 행동의 변화 상황을 계속 기록해 두었다. 모래상자 놀이를 마친 후에 사전 검사에서 실시하였던 모든 검사를 재실시하였다. 연구의 결과를 살펴보기 위해서 40회의 모래상자를 분석하고, 사전 검사와 사후 검사를 비교 분석하였다. 대상 유아의 모래상자는 혼돈의 단계, 투쟁의 단계를 거쳐서 자신에 대한 의식이 성장하는 단계로 변화되어가는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 또 사전 검사와 사후 검사를 비교 분석한 결과, 모래 상자 놀이 후에 자신에 대한 의식이 성장하고, 주의력결핍, 충동성 그리고 과잉행동의 수준이 낮아진 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 모래상자 놀이가 주의력결핍 과잉행동의 장애를 지닌 4세 남아에게 치료적 효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the therapeutic effect of the sand play on ADHD child. The subject was 4-years-old boy. For the pre-test, HTP, KFD, KEDI-WISC, and DSM-IV were used. After the pre-test, 40 sand play sessions were implemented during the 1-year. The tests of the pre-test except KEDI-WISC were used again for the post-test. The sand play scenes and narratives were analysed. The scores of the pre-test and the post-test were compared. The sand play of the subject were analysed the sessions into the chaos stage, the struggle stage, and the stage of the growth of the ego. After the sand play, the consciousness of the ego was developed, the levels of the subject's inattention, impulsiveness and hyperactivity were reduced. In conclusion, the sand play was effective to cure to ADHD 4-years-old boy.
