예비교사의 교사효능감, 성장마인드셋, 그릿과 우울 간의 구조적 관계

Structural Relationships between Teacher Efficacy, Growth Mindset, Grit and Depression of Pre-service Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 예비교사의 교사효능감, 성장마인드셋, 그릿, 우울 간의 구조적 관계를 확인하고 교사효능감과 성장마인드셋, 우울의 관계에서 그릿이 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하는 것이다. 예비교사인 교육대학교 학생과 사범대학교 학생 336명을 대상으로 교사효능감 척도, 성장마인드셋 척도, 그릿 척도, 우울 척도로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 최종 선정된 312개의 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였고, AMOS 20.0 프로그램을 활용하여 이론모형과 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사효능감, 성장마인드셋은 그릿에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 그릿은 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 그릿은 교사효능감과 우울에 미치는 영향을 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 그릿은 성장마인드셋과 우울에 미치는 영향을 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 예비교사의 효능감과 적응을 방해하는 요인 중 하나인 우울을 감소시키기 위해서는 그릿을 향상시켜야 함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship between Teacher Efficacy, Growth Mindset, Grit and Depression of pre-service teacher. This study proved that a theoretical model representing the structural relationship was established, conducting a questionnaire survey among 336 college students. The final 312 data used to figure out Teacher Efficacy, Growth Mindset, Grit and Depression scales. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 program and AMOS 20.0 program. The results of the study were as follows. First, Teacher Efficacy and Growth Mindset had direct impact on Grit. Second, Grit had direct impact on Depression. Third, Grit completely mediated Teacher Efficacy and Depression. Finally, Grit completely mediated Growth Mindset and Depression. This suggests that Grit should be improved to reduce Depression, which is one of the major factors resulting in pre-service teachers’ maladjustment to college.
