Four First Premolar Extraction Treatment of a Class II Malocclusion with Severe Crowding and Protrusion Using Clear Aligner

Four first premolar extraction treatment was widely used for patients presenting severe crowding and protrusive lip. It is challenging to treat a premolar extraction case by clear aligner therapy because it is hard to control the root movement. A 29.9-year-old woman presented with chief complaints of severe crowding, midline deviation, and lip protrusion. Setting proactive treatment plan, choosing proper attachments, and using intermaxillary elastics can help achieve acceptable treatment results.
