결혼만족도와 행복과의 관계에서 가족의례의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Family Rituals in the Relationship between Marital Satisfaction and Happiness

본 연구는 기혼남녀의 결혼만족도가 행복과의 관계에서 가족의례의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상은 기혼남녀 333명이며, 결혼만족도, 가족의례, 행복 척도를 실시하고 이를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 결혼만족도, 가족의례, 행복 간에는 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 또한, 결혼만족도가 행복에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 가족 의례는 결혼만족과 행복의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 가족의례의 하위유형인 저녁 식사, 주말 여가, 휴가, 연말 의식, 특별한 의식, 종교적 의식, 그리고 문화적 민족적 전통은 결혼만족과 행복 사이의 연관성에 매개 역할을 했다. 본 연구에서는 결혼만족과 가족의례가 행복을 이해하는 주요 요소이며, 가족의례가 결혼만족을 통해 기혼남녀의 행복으로 가는 통로임을 밝혔다. 논의에서는 연구결과가 갖는 함의와 제한점을 검토하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of family rituals in the relationship between married men and women's marriage satisfaction and happiness. The subjects of the study were 333 married men and women, and marriage satisfaction, family rituals, and happiness measures were conducted and analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. There was a positive correlation between marriage satisfaction, family rituals, and happiness. In addition, marriage satisfaction had a positive effect on happiness, and family rituals were found to have a mediating effect in the relationship between marriage satisfaction and happiness. In the following analysis, all subtypes of family rituals, such as dinner, weekend leisure, vacation, year-end consciousness, special consciousness, religious consciousness, and cultural and ethnic tradition had mediating roles in the associations between marriage satisfaction and happiness. In this study, it was revealed that marital satisfaction and family rituals are major factors to understand the happiness and family rituals are pathways through marital satisfaction to happiness among married men and women. In the discussion, the implications and limitations of the research results were reviewed.
