본 연구는 성인애착과 우울의 관계에서 정서조절곤란과 경험회피의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 서울, 부산, 경남, 충남, 경북, 경남지역의 대학생 296명을 조사하였다. 모형검증은 구조방정식 모형검증 방식을 사용하였다. 분석 결과 구조모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 두 가지 성인애착인 불안애착과 회피애착은 우울, 정서조절곤란, 경험회피와의 관계에서 정적인 영향을 보였다. 둘째, 성인애착 중 회피애착은 우울에 대한 직접효과를 보였다. 그러나 불안애착의 직접효과는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 불안애착과 우울의 관계에서 경험회피는 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성인애착과 우울의 관계에서 정서조절곤란과 경험회피는 이중매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 상담에서의 시사점과 후속 연구에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of emotion dysregulation and experiential avoidance on the relation between adult attachment and depression. For this purpose, the data of 296 college students in Seoul, Busan, Chungnam, Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam were collected. The data were analyzed by the structural equation model. As the result, the model turned out to fit the data. The research findings were as follows: first, anxiety attachment and avoidance attachment, two domains of adult attachment, had significant positive effects on emotion dysregulation, experiential avoidance and depression. Second, as for the effects of adult attachment on depression, avoidance attachment had a direct effect on depression, but anxiety attachment had no direct effect on it. Third, experiential avoidance had a significant mediating effect and a complete mediating effect on the relation between anxiety attachment and depression. Fifth, emotion dysregulation and experiential avoidance had significant dual mediating effects on the relation between adult attachment and depression. Based on these findings, the study discussed the implications for counseling practice and suggestions for follow-up study.
