동요를 활용한 강화된 환경중심 언어중재가 발달지체 유아의 어휘력과 발화 의미유형 및 의미관계에 미치는 효과

Effects of Enhanced Milieu Teaching Using Children’s Song on the Improvement of Vocabulary, Semantic Patterns and Semantic Relations of Children with Developmental Delays

이 연구의 목적은 동요를 활용한 강화된 환경중심 언어중재가 발달지체 유아의 어휘력과 발화의 의미유형 및 의미관계 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이며, 이를 위해 발달지체 유아 5명을 대상으로 중재 전후의 어휘력과 발화의 의미유형 및 의미관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동요를 활용한 강화된 환경중심 언어중재는 발달지체 유아의 어휘력 향상에 효과가 있어, 20회기 동안 목표어휘를 이해하고 표현하는 능력이 향상되었을 뿐만 아니라 중재 후 어휘발달연령도 증가하였다. 둘째, 동요를 활용한 강화된 환경중심 언어중재는 발달지체 유아의 발화 의미유형과 의미관계에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐, 대부분의 발달지체 유아는 중재 전보다 발화수가 증가하였고 단단어보다는 다단어를 사용하게 되었으며, 중재 후 다양한 의미유형과 의미관계를 사용하였다. 이 연구는 발달지체 유아를 대상으로 동요를 활용한 강화된 환경중심 언어중재의 효과를 제시하는 것으로, 강화된 환경중심 언어중재가 어휘력과 발화의 의미유형 및 의미관계 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of enhanced milieu teaching using children’s song on the improvement of vocabulary, semantic patterns and semantic relations of children with developmental delays. This study compared the vocabulary, semantic patterns and semantic relations before and after intervention after 20 interventions in 5 children with developmental delays. The study results are as follows. First, enhanced milieu teaching using children’s song was effective in improving the vocabulary of children with developmental delays. During the 20th session, not only the ability to understand and express the target vocabulary improved, but also the vocabulary development age increased after the intervention. As a result of the Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test, the equivalent age of acceptance improved by 9~21 months, and the equivalent age of expression improved by 2~18 months. Second, enhanced milieu teaching using children’s song influenced the semantic patterns and semantic relations of children with developmental delays. Most of the children with developmental delays had more utterances than before intervention and used multiple words rather than single words. Compared to the limited type of semantic patterns and semantic relationship types before intervention, various types of semantic patterns and semantic relationships were used after intervention. This study suggests the effect of enhanced milieu teaching using children’s song for children with developmental delays, suggesting that the enhanced milieu teaching is meaningful in improving vocabulary and semantic patterns and semantic relationships.
