드라마「동백꽃 필 무렵」여주인공 ‘동백’에 대한 Kohut의 자기심리학적 접근의 분석 및 상담모형 연구

Analysis of Kohut’s Self-Psychological Approach to the Heroine ‘Dong-baek’ in the Drama 「When the Camellia Blooms」 and Study on Counseling Model

창조적인 작가의 몽상인 무의식이 투사되어 표현된 창작으로서의 작품에 대한 정신분석 패러다임에서의 분석은 기독(목회)상담자들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 간접적인 사례 경험이 될 수 있다고 사료된다. 이에 본 연구는 창작으로서의 다양한 작품들 중 ‘드라마’를 선택하여 작가의 무의식이 투사된 주인공을 통해 병리적인 정신역동에 관한 통찰을 얻도록 정신분석 패러다임 안에서 분석하는 간접적인 사례 연구의 수행을 목적으로 삼았다. 이를 위하여 드라마 「동백꽃 필 무렵」의 여주인공 ‘동백’을 간접적인 사례 연구의 대상으로 선정하여 Kohut의 자기심리학적 접근으로 자존감이 낮은 성격을 지닌 ‘동백’이라는 인물이 어떻게 병리적인 정신역동에 따른 낮은 자존감이 회복되는 치료적 변화 과정을 밟아가게 되는지를 고찰하였다. 이러한 드라마 속 인물의 간접적인 사례 경험을 통해 얻게 된 병리적인 정신역동에 관한 통찰을 토대로, 기독(목회)상담자들에게 내담자들을 위한 돌봄에 필요한 요소들을 발견하여 적용시키는 상담 방안 모색의 도움을 제공하고자 ‘연속적 자기애’의 개념에 근거한 자기심리학적 상담모형의 구축을 논의하였다.

It is thought that the analysis from a psychoanalytic paradigm of the work as a creation expressed by projecting a creative writer’s unconscious, can be an indirect case experience of practical help to Christian(pastoral) counselors. This research aimed to conduct an indirect case study analyzing within a psychoanalytic paradigm to gain insights on pathological psychodynamics through the main character, in which the writer’s unconscious is projected by selecting ‘drama’. For this, the heroine of the drama 「When the camellia blooms」 was selected as a research subject, and Kohut’s self-psychological approach was used to examine how the heroine with low self-esteem underwent the therapeutic change process. Then, based on insights, this research discussed the construction of a self-psychological counseling model based on a concept of ‘continuous narcissism’ to provide Christian (Pastoral) counselors with help in seeking counseling methods to discover and apply the elements necessary for caring for their clients.
