해외사례를 통한 포스트 코로나 시대 장애학생 교육지원의 발전 방향 탐색

Exploring the Future Direction of Educational Support for Students with Disabilities in the Post-COVID Era using International Cases

코로나-19는 교육에서 큰 변화를 가져왔고, 특히 장애학생 교육격차 해소를 위한 다각적인 교육지원의 필요성이 대두되게 되었다. 현재 국제기구 보고서 및 여러 연구보고서 등에서 코로나-19 기간동안 해외 교육 현황 및 정책에 대한 다양한 정보와 시사점을 제공하고 있으나 교육에서 가장 취약한 장애학생을 대상으로 하는 해외사례는 적절히 조사되지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 영국, 독일, 미국을 중심으로 코로나-19 기간 동안 장애학생 교육지원 내용에 대해 살펴보고, 포스트 코로나 대비 국내 장애학생 교육지원의 발전 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구결과, 장애학생을 위한 에듀테크 기반 인프라 지원, 대면 및 비대면 학습지원, 행동문제 상담 및 교육복지 지원 측면에서 6가지 발전 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 포스트 코로나를 대비하여 장애학생에게 효과적인 교육지원을 제공하기 위한 교육 정책을 마련하는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

COVID-19 has brought major changes to education. In particular, the need for support to bridge the educational gap for students with disabilities has emerged. Currently, international organization reports and various research reports provide varied information and implications for overseas education policies during the COVID-19 period. However, overseas education support for students with disabilities has not been properly investigated. Therefore, this study intends to explore the content of educational support for students with disabilities during the COVID-19 period, focusing on the UK, Germany, and the United States. This study’spurpose was to suggest the future direction of education support for students with disabilities in preparation for the Post-COVID era. Future directions were presented in terms of educational technology infrastructure, face-to-face and online learning support, behavioral problem counseling and educational welfare support for students with disabilities. This study can be used as basic data to prepare educational policies providing effective educational support to students with disabilities in preparation for the Post-COVID era.
