특성화고 학생들이 인식하는 전공-적성 일치, 학교 특성·문화, 학교 시설이 학교 만족도에 미치는 영향

The effect of major-aptitude congruence, school characteristics and culture, and school facilities recognized by vocational high school students on school satisfaction

본 연구의 목적은 특성화고 학생들의 학교 만족도 제고 방안을 모색하고, 특성화고 교육 운영을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위한 연구 문제는 특성화고 학생들이 인식하는 전공-적성 일치, 학교 특성·문화, 학교 시설, 학교 만족도의 수준과 특성화고 학생들이 인식하는 전공-적성 일치, 학교 특성·문화, 학교 시설이 학교 만족도에 미치는 영향력을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 문제 해결을 위해 문헌 연구 및 직업교육 관련 연구경험이 있는 박사학위 소지자 2명의 전문가 검토를 통하여 설문지를 개발하였다. 설문 조사는 2021년 기준 전국의 특성화고 3학년 학생들을 대상으로 온라인으로 1,240부를 수집하였으며, 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고 학생들이 인식하는 전공-적성 일치는 3.54점, 학교 특성·문화는 3.70점, 학교 시설은 3.75점, 학교 만족도는 3.63점으로 모두 보통(3점)보다 약간 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 특성화고 학생들의 학교 만족도는 전공-적성 일치와 r=0.527, 학교 특성·문화와 r=0.709, 학교 시설과 r=0.710으로 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 특성화고 학생들이 인식하는 전공-적성 일치는 학교 만족도에 27.8%, 학교 특성·문화는 학교 만족도에 50.2%, 학교 시설은 학교 만족도에 50.5%의 설명력을 보였다. 변인들이 학교 만족도에 미치는 상대적 영향력은 학교 시설(β=0.344), 학교 특성·문화(β=0.343), 전공-적성 일치(β=0.268) 순으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to find ways to improve school satisfaction of vocational high school students and to provide basic data for the management of vocational high schools. The research questions for this purpose are to analyze the effect of major-aptitude congruence, school characteristics and culture, and school facilities recognized by vocational high school students on school satisfaction. To solve the research questions, the questionnaire was developed through the review of two experts with doctoral degrees with research experience related vocational education. The survey was distributed online to students from vocational high schools across the country, and 1,240 copies were collected. the results of the analysis are as follows. First, the major-aptitude congruence was 3.54 points, school characteristics and culture 3.70 points, school facilities 3.75 points, and school satisfaction 3.63 points, all slightly higher than normal(3 points). Second, the school satisfaction of vocational high school students showed a high correlation with major-aptitude congruence, r=0.527, with school characteristics and culture, r=0.709, and with school facilities, r=0.710. The explanatory power of major-aptitude congruence was 27.8% for school satisfaction, school characteristics and culture showed 50.2% for school satisfaction, and school facilities showed 50.5% for school satisfaction. The relative influence of variables on the school satisfaction of vocational high school students was found in the order of school facilities(β=0.344), school characteristics and culture(β=0.343), and major-aptitude congruence(β=0.268).
