만화를 활용한 대화식 빈칸쓰기 활동이 경도 지적장애 중학생의 이야기 문법과 단어정의하기에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Dialogic Cloze Procedure Activities Using Cartoons on Story Grammar and Word Definition of Middle School Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities

이 연구는 만화를 활용한 대화식 빈칸쓰기 활동이 이야기 문법과 단어정의하기에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 2명의 경도 지적장애 중학생을 대상으로 하여 질적 사례연구로 실시되었다. 연구 대상은 경도 지적장애 중학생 2명이었으며 중재 효과를 알아보기 위하여 사전검사 후 중재 회기마다 이야기 문법과 단어정의하기의 점수를 산출하여 백분율로 산출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만화를 활용한 대화식 빈칸쓰기 활동은 이야기 문법의 회상률과 이야기 문법 하위유형별 에피소드 산출에 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 하위유형인 배경, 계기사건, 시도, 결과도 전반적으로 향상되었다. 둘째, 만화를 활용한 대화식 빈칸쓰기 활동은 단어정의하기에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 명사보다 동사 정의하기에서 더 효과가 있었다. 이 연구는 경도 지적장애 중학생을 대상으로 만화를 활용한 대화식 빈칸쓰기 활동이 지적장애 중학생의 이야기 문법과 단어정의하기 향상에 효과가 있다는 점을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted as a qualitative case study for two middle school students with mild intellectual disabilities to find out the effect of dialogic cloze procedure activities using cartoons on story grammar and word definition. The subjects of the study were two middle school students with mild intellectual disabilities and the scores of story grammar and word definition were calculated as a percentage for each intervention session after the preliminary examination to find out the mediating effect. The findings are as follows. First, dialogic cloze procedure activities using cartoons had a positive effect on the recall rate of story grammar and the calculation of episodes by story grammar subtype and the subtype setting information, initiating event, attempt, internal reaction and result were improved overall. Second, dialogic cloze procedure activities using cartoons had a positive effect on word definition and were more effective in defining verbs than nouns. This study is meaningful in that it suggested that it is effective in defining stories and words for middle school students with mild intellectual disabilities using cartoons.
