한국 ‘기‘(氣) 사상가들의 사회변혁 참여와 민중신학

The Praxis of Social Reformation of ‘Ki’ in the Context of Korean History and the Minjoong Theology

연구 목적 본 논문은 민중신학의 연구는 대부분 그 뿌리를 동학혁명까지 소급하여 사회개혁 과 연결 지었으나, 본 연구는 고대 신라시대까지 기의 역사를 소급하여 한국사상사에서 ‘기’ (氣) 사상의 뿌리와 줄기를 세우고 그 접촉점을 찾으려는 연구이다. 연구 내용 한국사상사에서 ‘기’(氣) 사상은 자연과 우주 변화의 물질적 기초를 표현하는 의 미로 사회변혁의 기제로 천 오백 여년 넘게 생존해왔음을 살펴보면서, 민중신학의 뿌리와 줄 기로 연결 짓고자 한다.본 연구에서 살펴본 한국사상사에서 기 사상가들은 자연과학적이고 합 리적인 사고로 리의 부패한 지배권력들에 의해 농민, 노비 민중들을 억압하고 수탈하는 현실 을 대변하고 참여하다 배제되고 유배되는 고초를 겪어 왔다. 그러다가 조선 후기의 실학자들 은 기 사상을 바탕으로 국방, 교육, 과학, 토지, 노예, 과거제도 등 사회 경제 전반에 걸쳐 민 본, 민권 개혁을 주장하여 한국 역사의 중심이 될 수 있었다. 이것은 민중신학이 독재정권에 맞서 노동자, 농민 등 민중들을 위해 인권운동과 사회개혁 운동에 참여.실천하였다는 공통점 이 있기에 기의 개혁사상과 대화를 하는 것은 중요하다고 본다. 결론 본 연구는 한국의 기 사상가, 실학자들은 지(학문)와 행(실천)을 통해 리에 의해 지배이 념으로 녹아든 세계관, 도덕 가치관의 지배이념을 타파하고, 불합리한 모순들을 타파하고 실 용적인 사회로 개혁하려 했음을 밝혔다. 바로 이것은 구약의 예언자들의 정의와 인권사상과 민중들과 함께 한 예수를 밝혀낸 민중신학자들의 사상과도 일치한다는 점에서 대화의 확장성 을 가질 것이다.

PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to relate to the Minjoong theology by looking back from the Shilla dynasty period to the realistic school which Ki thinkers had the basic ideas of Ki’s movement of matter in the universe and nature of the Ki, and seeing that they had survived as social transformers speakig for the Minjoong. CONTENTS In Korean history, Ki thinkers have suffered the hardship of being excluded and exiled from participating in the reality of oppressing and exploiting farmers and slaves by Ki's corrupt ruling powers. Then, in the late Joseon Dynasty, realistic scholars asserted the reform of the civil rights throughout the economy, national defense, education, science, land, slavery on the base of Ki, and became the center of Korean history. RESULTS This study examined that Minjoong theology practiced human rights and social reform movements for the Minjoong including labor workers and farmers against dictatorships. I think it is important to have a conversation with Ki's reform idea. I expect that Mingoong theologians take on the extention of dialogue.
