교원의 문화예술교육 연수 경험 탐색

Exploring Teachers’ Experience in Training on Culture and Arts Education

본 연구는 문화예술교육 연수에 참여한 교원들의 경험 탐색을 통해 연수의 현상을 다각적으로 이해하고 교원의 인식과 요구를 포착하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 문화예술교육 연수에의 참여 경험이 있는 교원 14명을 대상으로 반구조화된 질문지를 활용하여 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였으며, 인터뷰 내용에 대한 반복적 비교분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 교원은 교육 현장의 관심과 이해가 낮은 가운데 어려운 결심을 통해 연수 참여를 결심하였다. 둘째, 교원은 연수에 참여하면서 동일한 관심을 가진 몰입도 높은 학습자들을 만나게 되었다. 셋째, 교원은 연수의 전문적인 내용에 만족하며 전문 역량 개발 욕구를 충족하였다. 넷째, 교원은 연수에서 참여, 성찰 등 차별화된 교육방법을 경험하였다. 다섯째, 교원은 연수 후 교육현장에서 활용하기에는 연수의 실천성이 부족하고 상황도 여의치 않음을 경험하였다. 연수 경험 탐색을 통해 본 연구는 교원의 문화예술교육 연수에 대한 기대와 현실을 다각도에서 조망하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 향후 교원 문화예술교육 연수에의 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the phenomenon of training on culture and arts education from various angles. Also this study aims to capture the perceptions and needs of teachers by exploring the experiences of teachers who participated in culture and arts education training. To this end, a group interview was conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire for 14 teachers who had experience participating in culture and arts education training. Through the repeated comparative analysis of the interview contents, the following five topics were derived. First, the teachers decided to participate in the training in the midst of low interest and understanding on culture and arts education in the field of school education. Second, while participating in the training, teachers met highly immersive learners with the same interests. Third, the teachers were satisfied with the professional contents of the training and satisfied the need for professional competency development. Fourth, teachers experienced differentiated educational methods such as participation and reflection in training. Fifth, the teachers experienced that the practicality of the training was insufficient and the situation was not suitable for using training experience in the classroom education after training. Through the exploration of the training experience, this study looked at the expectations and reality of teachers’ culture and arts education training from various angles. Based on the results of this study, implications for future teacher culture and arts education training were presented.
