도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육의 방향

The Direction of AI Ethics Education in Moral Education

본 연구는 그동안 이루어진 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육에 관한 연구로부터 도출한 중요한 쟁점을 두 가지, ‘인공지능윤리교육의 필요성’, ‘인공지능윤리교육에서 내용과 형식의 문제’로 요약한 후, 각각에 관련된 관점이 가지고 있는 특징과 한계를 분석하였다. 나아가 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육의 방향에 초점을 두고 다시 ‘기술의 필요초과적 성격’, ‘내용과 형식의 이분법을 넘어’라는 관점에서 위의 두 가지 쟁점에 관한 대안적 관점을 제시하였다. 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육은 도덕과의 정체성을 존중하는 방향에서 이루어져야 하며, 이는 인공지능 기술이 가져올 사회적 변화와 여파 이상으로 그것이 불러일으키는 질문에 응분의 관심을 기울여야 한다는 점을 의미한다. 본 연구는 도덕과의 정체성에 부합하는 인공지능윤리교육의 방향을 제안하기 위하여 현대 기술철학에서 논의되는 인간과 기술의 관계에 주목한다. 현대 기술철학의 견해에 입각하여 말하자면, 기술을 이해하는 것은 인간을 이해하는 것과 다르지 않다. 도덕과를 통한 인공지능윤리교육은 단순히 인공지능의 올바른 사용이라는 관점을 넘어 기술과 인간의 관계를 모색하는 데 주안점을 두어야 한다.

This study summarized the important issues derived from the AI ​​ethics education research conducted so far in terms of the necessity of AI ethics education and the content and form of AI ethics education, and then analyzed the characteristics and limitations of each related perspective. Furthermore, focusing on the direction of AI ethics education in moral education, an alternative perspective on the above two issues was presented. AI ethics education in moral education should be conducted in the direction of respecting the identity of moral education, which means that more attention should be paid to the questions it raises beyond the social changes and aftermath that AI technology will bring. This study pays attention to the relationship between humans and technology discussed in modern technology philosophy to suggest the direction of AI ethics education. Referring to the views of modern philosophy of technology, understanding technology is no different from understanding humans. AI ethics education should focus on exploring the relationship between technology and humans beyond the simple point of view of the correct use of AI.
