청소년이 지각한 사회적 위축이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 긍정적 부모양육태도의 매개효과

Effects of Social withdrawal perceived by Adolescents on Satisfaction of Life: Mediating Effects of Positive Parenting Attitudes

본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 사회적 위축과 부모양육태도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년 패널조사 2018 3차년도 중학교 재학생 데이터를 활용하였고, 최종 연구 대상자는 남학생 1,278명과 여학생 1,106명이다. 사회적 위축, 긍정적 부모양육태도와 삶의 만족도의 관계를 확인하기 위해 SPSS 20.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년이 지각한 사회적 위축이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 사회적 위축을 높게 지각할수록 삶의 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년이 지각한 사회적 위축이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 긍정적 부모양육태도의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 긍정적 부모양육태도의 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 즉, 청소년이 지각한 사회적 위축은 삶의 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치면서, 긍정적 부모양육태도를 통해 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있음이 검증되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 청소년의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위하여 사회적 위축의 감소 및 긍정적 부모양육태도 제고를 위한 실천적인 정책적 대안과 맞춤형 부모교육프로그램의 개발에 관한 시사점을 제시해 주었다.

This study examined the effect of social withdrawal perceived by adolescents on satisfaction of life, and verified the mediating effect Positive parenting attitudes of in these relationships. Data from the 2018 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey were used in this study. The subjects of this study were 1,278 male and 1,106 female students in middle schools. Correlation, frequency, the technical statistics analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted to confirm the relationship between parenting attitudes, social withdrawal and satisfaction of life. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the effect of social withdrawal perceived by adolescents on life satisfaction of life, statistically significant results were found, and social withdrawal were found to be the influencing factor. Second, as a result of examining the mediating effect of Positive parenting attitudes on the effect of social withdrawal perceived by adolescents on satisfaction of life, the partial mediating effect of Positive parenting attitudes was verified. It was verified that the social withdrawal perceived by adolescents directly affects satisfaction of life and indirectly affects it through dependence on Positive parenting attitudes. These results suggested practical policy alternatives and the development of customized parental education programs to reduce social contraction and improve positive parenting attitudes in order to improve youth's satisfaction of life.
