The purpose of this study was to gain insight into the experiences of the participants through the narrative and to analyze the perceptions and attitudes towards multiculturalism in our society through life stories. The study involved 3 women from Japan. Date were collected by conducting a one-on-one in-depth interview. The researchers conducted a narrative exploration study presented by Clandinin and Connelly (2004). The narrative text was analyzed taking into account the 3 dimensions of temporality, sociality, and spatiality, as well as the backward, forward, inward, and outward, orientations. The researchers organized the life themes of each study participant and described their narratives around them. Based on the results of the study, we discussed the history of Japanese married immigrant women, the graves of their careers, and the repression and exclusion of the local population. The proposal suggested integration with immigrant from disparate cultural backgrounds in a multicultural era.
