본 연구의 목적은 초등돌봄교실 질에 대한 학부모의 인식을 조사하고 질 개선영역을 도출하여 향후 발전 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구목적을 위해 서울 소재 A초등학교 오후 돌봄교실을 정기적으로 이용하는 학부모를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 진행하였다. 정영모(2017)가 개발한 초등돌봄교실 질 진단 도구를 활용하여 학부모의 인식을 조사하고, Deng(2007)이 제시한 수정 IPA 모형에 의해 질 개선영역을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, A초등학교에서 우선적으로 개선할 영역은 급․간식, 협력체계 구축, 재원확보의 안정성으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate parents' perceptions of the quality of elementary care classrooms, derive quality improvement areas, and present future development directions. For the purpose of the study, an online survey was conducted targeting parents who regularly use afternoon care classes at A elementary school in Seoul. Using the elementary care classroom quality diagnosis tool developed by Jeong Yeoung-mo(2017), parents' perceptions were investigated, quality improvement area was derived by the modified IPA model presented by Deng(2007). As a result of the analysis, the priority areas for improvement in A elementary school were meals and snacks, activities to build a cooperative system, and stable securing of financial resources. Based on these results, meal and snack activities considering nutrition and demand in a hygienic environment, a cooperation system between parents and schools, and securing stable financial resources for the operation of elementary care classes were suggested as development directions. As an implication of the study, it was suggested that it is necessary to fully consider the subject, method, period, and characteristics of individual schools in the study of diagnosing the quality or satisfaction of elementary care classes.
