대학에서 운영하는 비교과 프로그램의 유형과 운영전략 연구

A study on the types and operational strategies of Non-Departmental Programs Operated by Universities

이 연구에서는 비교과교육 프로그램과 관련한 연구물 분석과 이론적 탐구를 통해 비교과교육 프로그램의 유형을 제시하고 비교과 프로그램의 운영 전략을 제안하고자 하였다. 대학의 비교과 프로그램은 다양성과 유연성을 특징으로 한다. 비교과 프로그램의 운영 유형은 크게 핵심 역량, 취업 및 창업 역량, 소양 및 학습역량으로 구분할 수 있다. 비교과 프로그램은 학문적인 지식 이외에 대학생의 성적 향상, 진로 및 직무능력 개발, 자기주도 학습능력, 대학생활 적응에도 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 비교과 프로그램의 운영전략은 첫째, 대학생이 필요로 하는 비교과 프로그램이 무엇인지를 파악하는 것이 우선되어야 한다, 둘째, 비교과프로그램 전담 센터를 설립하고 비교과 프로그램 운영을 뒷받침하기 위해 비교과통합관리시스템을 만드는 것이 중요하다. 셋째, 대학에서 비교과 프로그램 성과에 체계적인 평가와 질 관리 노력도 함께 수반되어야 하며 다양한 교수학습 방법을 활용할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 체계적인 비교과교육 과정 설계를 통해 비교과 프로그램이 실행되도록 하고 이를 행정ㆍ제도적으로도 뒷받침할 필요성이 있다.

The purpose of this study was to suggest the types of extracurricular programs and to propose operational strategies for extracurricular programs through analysis of research materials related to extracurricular programs education programs and theoretical exploration. University extracurricular programs are characterized by diversity and flexibility. The type of operation of extracurricular programs can be largely divided into core competencies, employment and start-up competencies, and knowledge and learning competencies. Extracurricular programs have been shown to have a positive impact not only on academic knowledge, but also on college students' academic performance improvement, career and job competency development, self-directed learning ability, and college life adaptation. As for the operation strategy of Extracurricular programs, first, it is important to prioritize identifying the extracurricular programs that students need. second, it is important to establish a Dedicated center for extracurricular programs and create an integrated extracurricular programs management system to support the operation of extracurricular programs. Third, quality management based on systematic evaluation of extracurricular programs performance in universities needs to be accompanied, and it is necessary to use various teaching and learning methods for extracurricular programs. Fourth, there is a need to implement extracurricular programs through systematic extracurricular curriculum design and to support them administratively and institutionally.
