선율악기를 활용한 집단 음악 활동이 유아의 사회성 발달과 또래 상호작용에 미치는 영향

A comparative study on influence of group music activities using melodic instruments on the social development and interaction of infants

본 연구는 선율악기를 활용한 집단 음악 활동이 유아의 사회성 발달과 또래 상호작용에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도에 위치한 어린이집 2곳의 만 4, 5세 유아 36명으로, 실험집단 18명과 통제집단 18명으로 구분하였다. 연구 기간은 2022년 5월 2일부터 2022년 7월 25일까지로 실험 집단에게는 주 1회씩 총 11회기의 음악 활동 프로그램이 제공되었으며, 통제 집단에게는 음악 활동 프로그램을 제공하지 않았다. 자료의 분석은 통계프로그램 SPSS 20.0 Version을 이용하여 비 모수 검증인 Wilcoxon 부호 순위 검정을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 선율악기를 활용한 집단 음악 활동은 유아의 사회성 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 선율악기를 활용한 집단 음악 활동은 유아의 또래 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 집단 음악 활동이 유아의 사회성 발달과 또래 상호 작용에 의미 있는 활동임을 시사하고 있다.

This study investigates the influence of group music activities using melodic instruments on the social development and interaction of infants. The subjects of the study were 36 children aged 4 and 5 from two daycare centers located in Gyeonggi-do, evenly divided into 18 experimental groups and control groups. The data collection was conducted from May 2, 2022 to July 25, 2022, and a total of 11 music activity programs were provided to the experimental group once a week. For the analysis of data, Wilcoxon code ranking test, which is a nonparametric verification, was performed utilizing the statistical program SPSS 20.0 Version. The data collection results are as follows. First, group music activities using melodic instruments had a positive effect on the social development of infants. Second, group music activities using melodic instruments also suggested a positive effect on the peer interaction of infants. In conclusion, it is suggest that group music activities are meaningful activities for infant social development and interaction.
