최근 장애등급제가 폐지되고 장애정도를 기준으로 개인이 요구하는 서비스를 지원하게 되었다. 개인별 지원요구가 다양한 발달장애인의 경우 요구하는 지원정도를 정확하게 파악하고 서비스와 연계하는 것이 필요하다. 이에 이 연구에서는 공주시의 협력을 통해 유치원에서 고등학교까지 발달장애아동 54명을 대상으로 한국판 아동용 지원정도척도(SIS-C)를 활용하여 지원요구를 분석하고, 장애인 활동보조 서비스의 시간과 지원요구지표 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 하위영역의 모든 상관계수가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 장애인 활동보조 서비스 지원 유무에 따른 집단 간 차이는 7가지 하위영역 중 가정생활 활동, 지역사회와 이웃활동, 사회활동, 옹호활동에서 집단 간 차이가 나타났다. 전체 지원요구 점수 또한 집단 간 평균 차이가 나타난 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 국내 사회복지 및 특수교육 현장에 적용할 수 있는 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
With the recent abolition of the disability grading system, individualized services have been supported by the degree of disability. It is essential to accurately identify the support needs of people with developmental disabilities and link them with individualized services. This study, in cooperation with Gongju city, evaluated the support needs of 54 children with developmental disabilities from kindergarten to secondary school using the Korean version of support intensity scale for children(SIS-C) to analyze the relationship between personal assistant services(PAS) and support needs index(SNI). As the result, the correlation between variables was statistically significant. As for the variable of PAS, the two groups showed differences in the areas of home living, community & neighborhood, social activities, and advocacy. There was an average difference between the groups in the support needs index as well. Implications and suggestions for domestic social welfare and special education were provided.
