키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용한 유아 민주시민교육 관련 연구 동향 분석

Research trends related early childhood democratic citizenship education through keyword network analysis

본 연구에서는 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 유아 민주시민교육 관련 연구 동향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국연구정보서비스(RISS)와 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)을 통해 유아 민주시민교육 관련 학술논문의 키워드를 수집하였으며, 키워드 정제 후 Excel과 UCINET 6을 활용하여 분석하고, Netdraw로 시각화하였다. 자료분석은 전체 발간현황, 키워드 빈도 현황, 토픽 모델링 분석, 네트워크의 구조적 속성, 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개중심성을 중심으로 수행하였다. 유아 민주시민교육 관련 연구물의 발간현황을 분석한 결과 총 135편 발간된 것으로 나타났으며, 키워드 빈도는 검색어인 ‘유아’를 제외하면 ‘세계시민교육’, ‘인성’, ‘유아교사’, ‘국가 수준 유치원 교육과정’, ‘그림책’ 순으로 높게 나타났다. 토픽 모델링 결과 ‘유아’, ‘공동체 의식’, ‘민주시민교육’, ‘인성’, ‘유아교사’ 순으로 주제가 추출되었다. 중심성 분석 결과를 종합해보면 공동체 의식, 세계시민교육, 인성, 그림책, 국가 수준 유치원교육과정, 교육 프로그램이 빈도분석, 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개중심성 모두에서 공통적으로 10위권 내에 포함된 키워드로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 유아 민주시민교육 관련 연구의 과거와 현재를 살펴보고 앞으로의 연구 방향성을 모색해보았는데 그 의의가 있다.

In this study, the research trend related early childhood democratic citizenship education was analyzed using keyword network analysis. To this end, keywords from academic papers related to early childhood democratic citizenship education were collected through the Korea Research Information Service(RISS) and the Korean Journal of Citation Index(KCI). Consequent keyword refinement, they were analyzed using Excel and UCINET 6 and visualized with Netdraw. Data analysis was conducted focusing on overall publication status, keyword frequency status, topic modeling analysis, network structural properties, degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweeness centrality. As a result of analyzing the publication status of research publications related to early childhood democratic citizenship education, a total of 135 articles were published. The keyword frequency was found to be the highest in the order of ‘Global citizenship education', ‘Personality', ‘Early childhood teacher', ‘National level kindergarten curriculum', and ‘Picture book' when the search term ‘young children' was excluded. For the result of topic modeling, topics were extracted in the order of ‘young children', ‘community consciousness', ‘democratic citizenship education', ‘personality', and ‘early childhood teacher'. Through combining the results of centrality analysis, community consciousness, global citizenship education, personality, picture books, national level kindergarten curriculum, and educational programs were found to be commonly included in the top ten keywords in frequency analysis, degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweeness centrality. The results of this study are meaningful in that they looked into the past and present of researches related to early childhood democratic citizenship education using keyword network analysis and explored the direction for the future research.
