Unmet Needs and Community-linked Institutions of Temporary Program Subjects in the Basic Mental Health Welfare Center

The purpose of this study is to identify the unmet needs and community-linked institutions of temporary program subjects in the basic mental health welfare center. The subject of this study is 450 of the data registered in the MHIS linkage processing from January 2019 to July 2021 at 5 basic centers in G city. Analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 26.0 statistical program and Gephi 0.9.2 program. As a result of this study, the unmet need was highest in the ‘state evaluation’, followed by the ‘social service evaluation’. In the sub-domains, ‘ability to use public services’ and ‘psychiatric symptoms’ appeared in order. Linked institutions were highest in the ‘government offices’ followed by the ‘Welfare-related organizations’. In the sub-domains, ‘welfare centers and welfare-related institutions’, ‘hospitals·clinic’ appeared in order. In conclusion, for the community integration of the mentally disabled, it is necessary to understand the unmet needs of the target and to establish a close cooperative relationship with related organizations.
