발달장애 청소년 경제·금융교육에 대한 특수교사의 경험과 지원요구

Experience and Support Needs of Special Education Teacher’ Economic and Finance Classes for Adolescents with Developmental Disabilities

본 연구는 발달장애 청소년의 효과적인 경제·금융교육 방안 및 교사 교육을 위한 중요한 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 특수학교에 근무하는 특수교사 9명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 전사하여 개방 코딩, 범주화, 범주 확인의 과정을 거쳐 질적 분석하였다. 연구 결과 총 3개의 주제와 11개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 첫째, 경제·금융교육의 유용성으로는 경제·금융교육의 필요성, 디지털 사회 경제·금융 생활의 변화를 반영, 디지털 콘텐츠 활용으로 수업장벽 해소가 도출되었다. 둘째, 경제·금융교육의 방해요인으로는 발달장애 학생의 특성 및 경험의 부족, 중요성에 비해 기본교육과정에서 낮은 비중, 적절한 학습자료의 부족, 코로나19 이후 경제·금융 시스템의 변화에 따른 학습 및 소비장벽 발생이 도출되었다. 따라서 셋째, 경제·금융교육 활성화를 위해서는 교육과정의 경제·금융교육 비중 확대, 수업 실천사례 교사 연수 기회 확대, 학습자료 개발 및 자료 접근성 확대를 위한 노력, 학습 및 경제·금융장벽을 극복할 수 있는 교육 방법 모색으로 지원방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to provide effective economic and financial education plans for adolescents with developmental disabilities and important implications for teacher education. To this end, interviews were conducted with 9 special education teachers working at special schools. The collected data were transcribed and qualitatively analyzed through open coding, categorization, and category confirmation. As a result of the study, a total of 3 topics and 11 sub-topics were derived. First, the usefulness of economic and financial education reflected the necessity of economic and financial education, changes in digital social economy and financial life, and resolved class barriers through the use of digital content. Second, as obstacles to economic and financial education, the lack of characteristics and experiences of students with developmental disabilities, a low proportion of basic curriculum compared to importance, lack of appropriate learning materials, and learning and consumption barriers due to changes in the economic and financial system after COVID-19. Third, in order to revitalize economic and financial education, support measures were proposed to expand the proportion of economic and financial education in the curriculum, expand opportunities for teacher training in class practice, develop learning materials, and find educational methods to overcome economic and financial barriers.
