발달장애인의 일만족도가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

The effect of the work satisfaction of people with a development disability on life satisfaction: Examining the Mediation Effect of health characteristics (subjective health assessment)

본 연구는 연구대상의 사회인구학적 변인(성별, 연령, 학력)을 통제한 후 발달장애인의 일만족도와 생활만족도 간의 경로에서 매개변인인 건강특성(주관적 건강평가)이 생활만족도에 미치는 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구는 발달장애인의 일만족도가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 한국보건사회연구원에서 2020년에 실시한 장애인실태조사 데이터를 사용하였다. 특히 통제변인을 투입한 후 건강특성의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외생변인인 성별, 연령, 최종학력 등의 사회인구학적 변인을 통제 후 발달장애인의 일만족도가 주관적 건강평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 발달장애인의 일만족도가 생활만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발달장애인의 일만족도와 생활만족도 간의 경로에서 건강특성(주관적 건강평가)이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 발달장애인의 취업률을 증가시키기 위한 노력뿐만 아니라 발달장애인의 직무환경을 개선함으로써 발달장애인의 일만족도를 증진하여 지속적인 고용 상태를 유지하고 이직률 감소를 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

This study investigated the effects of the work satisfaction among people with a development disability on life satisfaction with emphasis on examining the mediation effect of health characteristics(subjective health assessment). To investigate the effect of the work satisfaction on their life satisfaction, this study used the survey data on people with a development disability conducted by Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs in 2020. This study used the hierarchical variable-regression analysis for the controlled case. Then, this study conducted the hierarchical variable-regression analysis and verified the variable effect. First, the work satisfaction has been proven to positively affect subjective health assessment when the socio-demographic variables, such as gender, age, and education level, all of which are exogenous, are controlled. Second, it has been proven that the work satisfaction positively affects health characteristics. Third, health characteristics (subjective health assessment), play a mediation effect between the work satisfaction and life satisfaction of people with a development disability. This study implied that the policy of maintaining continued employment and reducing the unemployment rate is crucially important. It can be implemented by enhancing the work satisfaction and improving the work environment for people with a development disability.
