지역사회 애착이 주민조직 참여에 미치는 영향: 집합적 효능감의 조절효과를 중심으로

The Influence of Community Attachment on Participation in Community Organizations: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Collective Efficacy

본 연구는 자발적 주민조직에 참여하고 있는 주민의 지역사회 애착과 주민조직 참여 간의 관계에서 집합적 효능감의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 활동기간 3년 이상의 자발적 주민조직이며, 사용된 측정도구는 지역사회 애착, 주민조직 참여, 집합적 효능감의 세 가지 척도이다. 수집된 데이터는 사회과학 통계프로그램인 PASW Statistics Ver.18을 이용하여 주요변수 간 상관관계를 분석하고, 조절효과분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자발적 주민조직에 참여하고 있는 주민의 지역사회 애착, 주민조직 참여, 집합적 효능감 사이의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 모두 정적인 상관관계를 나타내며 통계학적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 자발적 주민조직에 참여하는 주민의 지역사회 애착과 주민조직 참여의 관계에서 집합적 효능감의 조절효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 집합적 효능감의 하위변인인 사회적 응집력, 비공식적 통제의 조절효과를 살펴본 결과, 지역사회 애착과 주민조직 참여 간의 관계를 두 하위변인 모두 각각 조절하는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 주민조직 참여를 위한 제언과 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of collective efficacy on community attachment and participation in resident organizations of residents participating in voluntary resident organizations. The subjects of the study were voluntary resident organizations with an activity period of more than 3 years, and the measurement tools used were three measures: community attachment, resident organization participation, and collective efficacy. For the collected data, correlations between major variables were analyzed using PASW Statistics Ver.18, a statistical program for social sciences, and moderating effect analysis was conducted. The main results revealed through this study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between community attachment, participation in resident organizations, and collective efficacy of residents participating in voluntary resident organizations, all of them showed static correlations and were statistically significant. Second, there was a moderating effect of collective efficacy in the relationship between community attachment and participation in resident organizations of residents participating in voluntary resident organizations. Third, as a result of examining the moderating effects of social cohesion and informal control, which are sub-variables of collective efficacy, it was verified that both sub-variables each moderated the relationship between community attachment and participation in resident organizations. Based on these research results, the significance of this study and suggestions and implications for participation in resident organizations were discussed.
