이 연구는 서․논술형 평가도구 개발 방법을 적용하여 기술 교사들이 수업 평가의 실제에서 활용할 수 있는 서․논술형 예시 평가도구를 제시하는 것에 그목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 평가요소 선정, 계획 수립, 문항 및 채점기준 개발, 전문가 검토, 수정 및 보완의 과정을 거쳐 서․논술형 예시 평가 문항을 개발하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등 기술교과 서․논술형 평가 도구를 6개 주제, 12문항으로 개발하였다. 이 연구에서는 기존에 기술교과에서 상대적으로 주목받지 못하였던 서․논술형 평가 도구의 예시를 제시함으로써 앞으로 기술 교과에서의 서․논술형 평가활용에 대한 화두와 이정표로써의 방안을 제시하였다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 개발된 서․논술형 예시 평가도구에는 세부 채점기준, 피드백 예시, 학생 기대수행을 제공하여 서․논술형 평가를 통한 교사와 학생의 상호작용을 돕고, 평가로써 객관성을 확보할 수 있도록 하였다. 셋째, 본 연구에서 개발된 서․논술형 평가를 직접 활용해본 교사 및 학생들은서․논술형 평가 방식에 긍정적인 견해를 보이고 있었다. 학생들은 서․논술형 평가가 기존의 지식 측정 평가 방식과는 달리 학생 스스로 생각하고 의견을 개진할 기회를 주고, 이것이 창의적 사고를 요구하는 미래사회에 필요한 능력을 키워줄 수 있다고 생각하였다. 추후, 이번 연구에서 개발되지 않은 여타의 기술 교과 내용 영역에 대하여서․논술형 평가 문항이 체계적으로 개발될 것과, 서․논술형 평가 활용에 대한기술 교사들의 인식 제고를 위한 방안이 제안될 것을 제언한다.
The purpose of this study was to research and develop a description and essay-type assessment instruments that could be used in technology subjects, and to present examples of assessment instruments that technology teachers could use in the real classroom situations. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, description and essay-type assessment instruments of a secondary technology subjects were developed with 6 topics and 12 questions. Second, detailed scoring criteria, examples of feedback, and expected student performance were provided for the description and essay type assessment instruments developed in this study. Third, teachers and students who directly used the description and essay type assessment developed in this study showed positive views on the writing and essay type assessment. It is suggested that description and essay-type assessment instruments be systematically developed for the content areas not developed in this study. In addition, it is suggested that a plan to increase the awareness of technology teachers on the use of description and essay type assessments should be proposed.
