당말唐末도통의식 변화 양상

The idea of Daotong suggested by Confucius leads the stream of Confucian ideas that cover every philosopher’s spirits of the times. I, the researcher, has concentrated on the idea of Daotong appearing especially in the era of Suí and Tang dynasties shows a practical viewpoint of Daotong in which such figures as Xunzi and Wangtong were arranged as the successors of universal truth (道). Especially the Daotong system of Pirixiu is noticeable as he regarded Xunzi and Wangtong as the successors of universal truth (道). His thoughts of Daotong does not only state the position and stance of Confucian school during such chaotic period of Suí and Tang dynasties but also suggest a practical idea of Daotong. The center of such Daotong system suggested by Pirixiu represents the philosopher Wangtong. I try to look into the stream and pattern of the thoughts of Daotong late in Tang dynasty through Wangtong’s idea.
