사진 분야 문화예술교육 발전을 위한 문화예술교육사 역량 및 양성 교육과정에 관한 인식과 요구 탐색

Exploration on Perception and Demand in Art & Culture Educators’ Capability and Training Education for Art & Culture Education Development in Photography

사진은 렌즈 기반 디지털 영상 매체의 급진적인 발전과 변화 속에서 무엇보다 손쉽고 빠른 창의적인 소통 매체이며 스마트기기의 등장으로 더욱 광범위한 영역에서 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 시대적 환경 안에서 사진 분야 문화예술교육 발전 방안을 모색하기 위해 학교 및 사회 문화예술교육 현장에서 다방면으로 활동 중인 사진교육 전문인력인 문화예술교육사 6인을 선정하고 설문지 조사 및 면담을 진행하고 사진 분야 문화예술교육사의 역량 및 양성 교육과정에 관한 인식과 요구를 탐색하였다. 연구 결과 사진 분야 문화예술교육사는 2급의 역할에 한정하지 않은 스스로의 자각 속 끊임없는 개발을 바탕으로 학습자의 가감 없이 드러나는 의식 속 사진을 읽고 학습자와 그들을 둘러싼 환경을 이해하며 프로그램 연구와 개발을 통해 전문가로서 사진교육을 진행할 수 있는 역량이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 역량을 향상하기 위해서 뉴미디어의 등장에 대한 대처와 도전, 심화 연수, 사진교육 공유의 장, 네트워크 형성 능력이 요구되었다. 양성 교육과정에 관하여 사진교육 전문가로서 정체성 형성과 다양한 사례 및 실습, 체계화된 교육과정 관리와 감독, 문화예술교육사로서 간과하지 말아야 할 역량 보완을 강조하고 교육과정을 진행하는 교수자의 역량 관리가 필요함을 언급하였다. 연구자는 위 요건이 선행되어 융합과 통합이 요구되는 교육 환경 속에서 문화예술교육으로서 사진교육의 실질적인 확장과 발전이 문화예술교육사의 이름으로 이끌어지길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore perception and demand in the art & culture educators’ capability and training education and look for ways to develop the arts & culture education, especially in photography through the voices of the six art & culture educators who are active in various fields in school and social art & culture education were selected, and surveys and interviews were conducted. It turned out their capability improvement has been influenced by identity formation, understanding in media and learners, program development, exploration and endeavor for capability improvement, and self-examination as the art & culture education specialists in the photography. And also, the curriculum is required self-awareness as photographic experts, exploration of various cases, capability training in the field, and managing for educators as well from interviews with the art & culture educators in the photography. When above-mentioned conditions are fulfilled, the photography education could be more extensively developed as the art & culture education in the educational environment that requires fusion and integration.
