A Study on Vygotsky's Art Theory

This thesis explores Vygotsky's theory of art. Vygotsky pays attention to the material and composition of the artwork itself, focusing on psychological laws and aesthetic responses to the influence of art. He agrees that works of art are not subject to psychology because they do not themselves contain psychology, but he analyzes the structure of stimuli and reconstructs the structure of responses, noting that they cause aesthetic reactions. He focuses on objective data and the process of aesthetic response, breaks away from subjective empirical psychology, rejects the interpretation of art approached by traditional psychology, and explores objectively and analytically. In particular, he refutes psychological research on the unconscious, rejects the separation of the conscious from the unconscious, and the definition of the unconscious as something we are unaware of. Vygotsky also rejected art scholars' separation of basic sociological conceptual problems from art psychology. Vygotsky's theory of art, while talking about human beings, denies the psychology of the time, which separates the individual from society and distinguishes the conscious from the unconscious. create psychology.
