우언적 구성의 문법적 지위 연구

A study on the Grammatical Status of the periphrastic construction

이 글은 한국어 우언적 구성의 문법적 지위에 관한 연구이다. 한국어 우언적 구성은 국어학의 여러 연구에 흔히 사용되었지만, 형태적·통사적으로는 많이 다루어지지 않았다. 이에 따라 이 글에서는 지금까지 한국어가 주로 어휘주의의 관점에서 연구됨에 따라, 어휘주의 어휘부 모형을 통해 우언적 구성이 등재소로서 어휘부의 출력형이 될 수 있는지 살펴보았다. 그러나 결과적으로 우언적 구성의 대부분은 어휘범주가 명확하지 못하여 어휘부에 등재되지 못할 것으로 판단하였다. 이에 대하여 그렇다면 이들이 어떻게 어휘부에서 출력되고, 통사부에 입력되는지 살피기 위하여 우언적 구성을 분리하여 살펴본 결과 이들 대부분은 선어말어미와 어말어미의 ‘기능 융합형 어미’로 존재한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

This article is a study on the grammatical status of Korean periphrastic construction. Korean periphrastic construction has been commonly used in various studies of Korean linguistics but has not been studied much morphologically and syntactically. As Korean has been mainly studied from the perspective of lexicalism so far, this article also examined whether periphrastic construction can be the output type of lexicon as a listeme through the lexicon model. However, as a result, most of the periphrastic construction was judged not to be listed on the Lexicon because the Lexical Categories were not clear. If so, as a result of separating the periphrastic construction to see how they are output from lexicon and input from Syntax, it was found that most of them exist as 'function-fused endings' of pre-final endings and final endings.
