다문화 가족을 형성한 한국 남성의 생애 발달 경험에 관한 재구성 연구 : 슛제의 생애사 연구 방법을 중심으로

A Reconstruction Study on the Life Development Experience of Korean Men Who Formed Multicultural Families : Focused on Biographical Research of Fritz Schütze

본 연구는 한국 사회 내 다문화 가족을 형성한 한국 남성을 대상으로 그들의 생애 발달 경험을 재구성하여 개인의 생애 발달 측면뿐 아니라 사회적 측면에 대해 살펴보며 이들의 삶을 이해하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구 방법으로 슛제(F. Schütze)의 즉흥 이야기식 인터뷰(Narrative interview)로 자료수집 하였으며, 수집된 자료를 슛제(F. Schütze)의 이야기 분석방법(Narrative analysis)으로 분석하였다. 먼저 연구대상자가 직접 구술한 삶의 역사를 구성한 후, 사례별 재구성하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 재구성 결과는 두 사례의 생애에서 스스로 지닌 낙인감이 생애과업을 결정할 때 중심축을 이루었으며 A사례의 경우, 자신의 장애를 삶의 방패막으로 만들어 일차적인 생존을 위해 가족을 형성하였으며 B사례의 경우, 장애등록으로 개인에 한정된 이익을 받아왔던 것처럼 보다 수월한 방법으로 가족을 형성하였음을 발견하였다. 가족에 대해서는 전통적인 가족형태로 인식하고 있어 가족의 내포된 속성이 빠진 채 가족이라는 형태를 이루려고 함에 따라 배우자와 자녀로 구성된 자신의 가족을 유지하려고만 함을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 한 개인의 생애사를 통해 사회 내 개인 그리고 다문화 가족의 구성원으로서 삶을 이끌어가는 주체의 시각을 반영한 연구로써 개인의 사회·문화적 탐색을 통해 사회복지실천적 측면과 사회정책적 측면에서 기초자료로 활용되고자 한다.

This study aims to gain an understanding of Korean men who have formed multicultural families in Korean society by reorganizing their life development experiences by examining not only individual life development but also the social aspects. To this end, data were collected utilizing the F. Schüutze Narrative Interview method. The collected data were subsequently analyzed via F. Schüutze's Narrative Analysis. First, a life history as described by the study subjects themselves was constructed, then reconstructed on a case-by-case basis as necessary. The reconstruction results in this study were central to the determination of the life task of self-stigmatization in the lives of the two subjects studied. In case A, the subject formed a family for the reason of primary survival by turning his disability into a shield to protect his life. In case B, the subject formed a family for different reasons, as he had received limited benefits from disability registration. As these families are recognized as a traditional family form, it was found that the subjects only attempted to maintain their own family consisting of spouses and children as a way to form a family without the implicit attributes of a family. This study reflects the perspectives of individuals and subjects who lead lives as members of multicultural families in Korean society by examining individual life history and aims to be used as basic data in terms of social welfare practice and social policy for individual social and cultural exploration.
