본 연구에서는 예비유아교사의 창의적 사고력을 계발할 수 있는 양성교육과정 및 교수 · 학습방법을 개발하기 위한 기초 자료를 획득하기 위하여 예비유아교사의 다중지능을 측정하였다. 연구결과 예비유아교사들의 다중지능 반응경향성에서 8 개 지능 모두 3 점 이상을 반응한 비율이 50%이므로 예비유아교사들은 지능의 범주 중에서 하나의 지능유형만을 가지고 있는 것이 아니라, 다양한 다중지능을 지니고 있음을 보여주었다. 또한 예비유아교사의 다중지능 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 예비유아교사들의 다중지능간에는 서로 밀접한 상호관련성아 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 예비유치원교사와 예비보육교사의 다중지능 프로파일의 구성은 다르게 나타났다. 예비유치원교사는 예비보육교사보다 음악지능, 신체-운동적 지능, 인간친화지능, 자기성찰지능이, 예비보육교사는 예비유치원교사보다 언어지능과 자연친화지능이 높게 나타난 것에 유의한차이가있었다. 이상의 연구결과를종합해 볼때 예비유아교사들에게 필요한창의적 능력은 다중지능을 통해 개발 가능함을 알 수 있었으며, 학습자의 창의적 사고력계발을 위한 예비교사교육과정 및 교수 · 학습방법 개발에도 다중지능이 적용될 수 있음을 시사한바, 이를위한후속연구가실시될 뿐만아니라전체 교육과정 실시 전 · 후의 차이를 비교하는 종단적 연구가 필요하다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate multiple intelligence preservice kindergarten and daycare teachers then the development of creative thinking based on the result. The subjects were 100 preservice kindergarten teachers in the Department of the Early Childhood Education and 92 preservice daycare teachers in the Department of the social welfare and arts for young children. The collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS/WIN 10.0 Computer Program. The major results of this study were as follows: First, there were significant interrelationship with sub area of preservice kindergarten and daycare teacher's multiple intelligence. It is indicated that preservice kindergarten and daycare teachers have their multiple intelligence profile. Second, it is the possible that the development creative thinking of preservice kindergarten and daycare teachers based on the result of the multiple intelligence.
