본 연구는 먼저 창의력 관련의 이슈와 다양성에 대한 접근을 살펴 본 다음 창의력 교육의 대상인 과정(過程)과 인성의 구체적인 내용을 분석해 보았다. 그리고 이러한 과정 기능/전략 및 창의적 성격과 태도를 어떻게 교수-학습 할 수 있는지도 같이 논구해 보았다. 특히 창의력 교육과 교과 수업과의 통합적 접근의 가능성과 이의 실천 방법을 강조하여 탐색해 보았다. 그런 다음, 봉사활동과 창의적 체험활동의 성격과 내용을 비판적으로 이해하고, 나아가 이들을 어떻게 개념화 할 수 있는 지를 고찰 해 보았다. 봉사ㆍ체험활동은 직접적이고 목적적인 학습 경험이며, 그러므로 이들 활동은 학습자가 현실 실제와 상호작용하는 실체험적인 것이고 자기 주도적인 것이며, 일반 교과 수업과 창의력 교육의 통합에서와 마찬가지로 내용 목표와 사고기능 목표를 함께 가져야 하며, 그리고 계획과 수행은 전략적이고 반성적이어야 한다고 개념화해야 한다는 것을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 봉사ㆍ체험활동을 위한 실천적 전략을 세 개의 단계로 모색해 보았다. 여기에는 준비 단계: 활동에 대한 이해 팀 구성, 계획 단계: 창의적 문제해결 과정의 적용을 통하여 문제발견에서 행위계획 세우기, 그리고 계획의 실천/수정, 완성 및 발표 단계 등이 포함되어 있다. 창의력 교육은 봉사활동, 창의적 체험활동을 통하여 교실, 학교 그리고 교사를 넘어 더욱 심화되고 확대될 수 있어야 한다.
Based on the initial discussion on how to approach the various issues and diversity concerns relating to the creativity education/development, this paper firstly examined the specific contents and teaching methods of the creative processes (process skills and strategies) and the creative person which includes the personality component and attitude component as well. Creativity 3C's, research and comprehension skills, and three process components of the creative problem solving process as of the process skills/strategies and four components such as curiosity, positive thinking, openness and persistency as of the creative person dimension have been identified and discussed. Then, the paper attempted to conceptualize the service learning and hands-on experiencing activities. They are understood firstly as learner-directed hands-on interaction with reality, secondly as direct and purposive activities having content components as well as thinking skills components, and thirdly as strategic and reflective ones. Finally, this article developed an action model of three stages of these activities. They include preparation stage which includes general understanding of the project and team building, planning stage which applies the skills of creative problem solving starting from finding the project topic going through developing the action plan, and, consequently, performing and presentation stage which has implementation of the action planing/revision, and action completion and, finally, making report and having presentation opportunities.
