한국형 전동휠체어 운전 기술능력 평가도구(K-PWD SAAT) 개발 및 검증 연구

목적 : 본 연구는 전동휠체어 사용자들이 안전하고 독립적인 활동과 참여를 수행하기 위해 필요한 운전 기술 능력을 보다 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가도구를 개발하고 검증하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구방법 : 평가도구의 개발과 검증을 위해 국외 전동휠체어 및 수동휠체어 운전 기술능력 평가도구에 대한 문헌 고찰, 전문가 의견조사, 전동휠체어 사용자 이동환경 분석, 전문가 내용타당도 조사를 실시하여 최종 평가 항목을 추출하여 평가도구를 개발하였다. 평가도구에 대한 검증을 위해 지체 및 뇌병변 장애인 30명을 대상으로 검사-재검사 신뢰도 및 공인타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 최종 개발된 평가도구는 각 평가항목에서 Cronbach’s α .909에서 .928로 높게 나타났고 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검증결과 .936으로 상관계수가 높은 것으로 나타나(p<.01), 신뢰도가 우수한 것으로 분석되었다. WST-P-Q 5.0과의 공인타당도 분석결과, 요인 전체에 대한 상관계수가 .750으로 타당도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다(p<.01). 결론 : 본 연구에서 개발한 전동휠체어 운전 기술능력 평가도구는 전동휠체어를 사용하기 전후 운전 기술능력을 평가하여 훈련의 성과를 체계적으로 비교 할 수 있는 데이터 제공이 가능한 최초의 평가도구이다.

Objective : This study was conducted for the purpose of developing and verifying an assessment tool that can more objectively assessment driving skills for safe and independent activities and participation of powered wheelchair users. Methods : In order to extract the final assessment items, a literature review was conducted on the assessment tools for powered and manual wheelchair mobility skills abroad, and also an expert opinion survey, analysis of the mobility environment of powered wheelchair users, and content validity of experts were conducted. To verify the evaluation tool, 30 persons with physical disabilities and brain lesions were subject to test-retest and concurrent validity. Results : As a result of verifying reliability and validity of 30 powered wheelchairs for the final developed assessment tool, Cronbach's α was high from .909 to .928 in each assessment item, and the correlation coefficient was .936 as a result of test-retest reliability verification(p<.01). It was analyzed that the reliability was excellent as it appeared to be high. As a result of WST-P-Q 5.0 concurrent validity analysis, the correlation coefficient for all factors was .750, which was analyzed to have high validity (p<.01). Conclusion : The driving skill ability assessment tool is the first assessment tool that can assess the ability to use a powered wheelchair before using it and provide systematically comparable data on training performance.
