치매 환자의 지역사회 복귀를 위한 치매안심병원 재활서비스 현황

Analysis of Current Status of Rehabilitation Services at Dementia Care Hospital for Return of Dementia Patients to the Community

목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 가정에서 돌봄을 제공하기 어려운 치매 환자의 집중적인 치료 및 지역사회 복귀를 지원하기 위해서 지정된 치매안심병원의 재활서비스 중 작업치료에 대한 현황을 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 공공데이터 제공 및 이용에 관한 법률을 기준으로 하여 전국의 치매안심병원에서의 재활서비스 인력 현황 및 코로나-19 치료 장비에 대한 현황을 산출하였다. 연구결과 : 본 연구를 통해서 치매안심병원의 기관별 평균 병상 수는 228.7개 병상, 치매안심병동의 평균 병상 수는 65.9개이었다. 코로나-19 치료관련 의료장비 중 가장 많이 보유한 장비는 혈액투석기로 평균 3.62개를 보유한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해서 치매안심병원의 재활서비스에 결과를 바탕으로 향후 안정적인 재활치료를 수행에 있어서 중요한 전문 인력인 작업치료사의 확충의 필요성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해서 향후 정책 및 교육프로그램 개발 시 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

Objective : The purpose of This study is conducted to analyze the current status of rehabilitation services at designated dementia care hospitals to support the return to the community through intensive treatment of dementia patients who are difficult to provide care at home. Methods : This study was Based on the Public Data Provision and Use Act, this study calculated and analyzed the current status of rehabilitation service personnel and COVID-19 treatment equipment in dementia relief hospitals nationwide. Results : As a result of the study, the average number of beds by institution of dementia relief hospitals was 228.7, and the average number of beds in dementia relief wards was 65.9. Among the types of medical equipment related to the treatment of COVID-19, hemodialysis machines were found to be the most possessed equipment with an average of 3.62 per institution. Conclusion : Based on the results of the rehabilitation services of dementia care hospitals, this study confirmed the need to expand occupational therapists, which are important professionals in performing stable rehabilitation treatment in the future. Through the results of this study, we would like to provide basic data for future policy and educational program development.
